Registration
The Arizona State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (AZSBJJF) is proud to
announce the 1st Arizona Kids Cup of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. The
competition will take place at the Broadway Recreation Center,
located at 59 E. Broadway Rd. in Mesa, AZ 85210. The Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu competition will offer only kids (4 to 15yrs old) and
Juvenile (16-17) Divisions. The tournament is limited to 180
competitors. Every competitor will receive a medal and a
certificate. IMPORTANT:
Registration will be closed for the tournament after 180
competitors.
Each competitor must fill out the registration form online. The
PRE registration fee is $35. It must be filled out by April 17th
at 11:59 pm (Arizona Time). After this date the registration fee
is $40.
All registrations must be received by Wednesday, April 22nd by
11:59 pm. No registrations after this date. Registration fees
are non-refundable. No exceptions.
The brackets will be released before the tournament. On Friday,
April 24th, the brackets will be available online at our website.
.The weigh in system is the same used by IBJJF. The competitor
will weigh in before his first match. If you don?t make weight, you
will be immediately disqualified. Please make sure that you are in
the correct weight category. You cannot change divisions, if you do
not make your designed division. No changes will be accepted on the
day of the tournament, and no refunds will be made. We offer an
extra scale for people to check their weights before.
This is a sport with rules, and making weight for your division is
part of the rules. In order to maintain the integrity of our
tournament and the sport we STRICTLY enforce this policy, so please
take responsibility and show up to the tournament at the correct
weight for your division!
