All registration corrections or questions must be emailed to email@example.com. Anything else (such as calls, texts, direct messages, etc) may not be answered.
Competitors may weigh in on:
• Friday, October 22 between 5:30pm-7:30pm @ Cleber Jiu Jitsu, 5061 Warner Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA 92649.
• Saturday, October 23 at the event as early as 8:00am.
COMPETITORS MUST BE WEIGHED/CHECKED IN AT LEAST ONE HOUR BEFORE THEIR DIVISION START TIME. The detailed schedule will be released the week of the tournament. It is the competitor's and kids' parent's responsibility to check the schedule. Any competitor who is not present at their division start time will be forfeiting the tournament and registration fee.
Competitors only need to weigh in once. You may weigh in at any of these times, regardless of which day you compete. Regardless of when you weigh in, and even if you are registered in a division without a weight limit, please still make sure to CHECK IN once you arrive on the day you compete.
Rules & Regulations
All competitors must wear a clean jiu-jitsu uniform in good condition. In gi divisions, the pants and jacket must be same color.
Legal and illegal techniques along with the point system will follow IBJJF guidelines, which can be found here: https://ibjjf.com/books-videos. Except, Revival BJJ will not have advantages.
Any competitor who displays unsportsmanlike conduct before, during, or after the match will be disqualified and forfeit the registration fee.
Any competitor who deliberately tries to hurt the opponent outside the "normal" scope of jiu-jitsu, including slamming the opponent while in their guard, will be disqualified.
Any competitor who displays an unwillingness to fight or go to the ground will have a verbal penalty for the first occurrence. On the second occurrence, 2 points will be granted to the opponent. On the third occurrence, 4 points will be granted to the opponent. If a fourth occurrence happens in the same match, the competitor will lose that match.
All disqualified competitors will lose their registration fee. Revival BJJ and staff are not responsible for any accident, injury, or death as a result of the tournament.
